Project AKLAT 2 2025: Aklat Para sa Kasanayan, Pag-Likha at Talino 📚

This 2025, Abiva Publishing House, Inc. continued its mission to foster literacy and provide quality educational resources through Project AKLAT: Aklat para sa Kasanayan, PagLikha, at Talino. With a focus on combating functional illiteracy and empowering Filipino learners, the project reached diverse communities nationwide, including remote areas like Pag-asa Island (Scarborough Shoal) Elementary School.

Expanding Partnerships for Literacy

Project AKLAT 2 kicked off with a meaningful partnership between Abiva and the Armed Forces of the Philippines Officers’ Ladies Club, Inc. (AFPOLCI), delivering 1,360 books to communities in need. This collaboration underscores our shared commitment to nurturing education not only within the AFP community but across the country.

In September, Abiva further strengthened its reach through collaborations with educational institutions:

  • On September 11, Abiva and Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST) sealed their partnership through a Memorandum of Agreement at the Mini Convention, NEUST-Sumacab Campus. Abiva stood out as the sole partner from the publishing industry among NEUST’s 25 partner institutions, reinforcing a shared vision of promoting literacy and providing quality learning materials.

  • On September 17, the Schools Division Office of Pasig City partnered with Abiva in a formal MOA signing at the Pasig Temporary City Hall. Graced by Mayor Vico Sotto and other officials, this collaboration ensures that underserved students gain access to quality textbooks, fostering a culture of reading and learning in Pasig City schools.

Project AKLAT in Action

The impact of Project AKLAT came alive during the turnover ceremony at San Lorenzo Ruiz Senior High School on November 13. The school received educational textbooks covering STEM, ABM, and HUMSS strands—perfectly timed with the celebration of National Reading Month. Through these efforts, Abiva continues to support Filipino learners in achieving academic success and lifelong love for reading.

Looking Ahead

2025 has been a year of meaningful partnerships, widespread impact, and countless stories of hope and learning through Project AKLAT. As we wrap up the year, Abiva remains committed to its vision of empowering communities through education, one book at a time. Together with our partners, we look forward to reaching even more learners in 2026 and beyond.
