A Day to Remember: Interns’ Appreciation Day 2025
On March 13, 2025, the Abiva Publishing House, Inc celebrated the Interns’ Appreciation Day, an event dedicated to recognizing the hard work, dedication, and achievements of the 9 interns from FEU Institute of Technology and FEU Alabang. This special occasion served as an opportunity to express gratitude for their contributions and recognize their role in advancing the company’s goals and overall productivity of the EdTech Department, where they were all assigned.
The event began with opening remarks from Ms. Jho Manansala, HR Manager, who expressed her deep gratitude to the interns. This was followed by an interactive Q&A session led by Ms. Camille Valencia, Digital Publishing Coordinator, where interns shared insights about their internship journey. Many expressed their gratitude for the hands-on experience, mentorship, and skills they gained during their time in the program.
“We deeply appreciate the warmth and support of the team and our supervisors. We especially love how approachable and helpful they are,” shared the interns when asked about the highlights of their internship experience.
To make the event more fun and engaging, the HR Department, in collaboration with the EdTech Department, organized games and awarded prizes to the interns. Afterward, as a token of appreciation, each intern received a certificate of recognition acknowledging their commitment and dedication.
The event concluded with heartfelt closing remarks, emphasizing gratitude and encouragement for the interns.
Ms. Agnes Apostol, EdTech Manager, expressed her appreciation for the interns’ hard work and contributions to the team. She emphasized the importance of applying the valuable skills they have gained, not only in their future careers but also in life. She also highlighted Abiva’s core values—Excellence, Integrity, and Commitment—as guiding principles for their professional and personal growth.
Also in attendance was Mr. Louie Gerard Abiva, President, who shared a brief but inspiring message. He commended the interns for their dedication and hard work, encouraging them to continue striving for excellence as they embark on their professional journeys.
