Abiva Strengthens Commitment to Quality Education at Philippine Book Festival
The 2025 Philippine Book Festival(PBF), held from March 13 to 16 at the Megatrade Hall in SM Megamall, Mandaluyong, marked a significant celebration of Filipino literature and culture. Organized by the National Book Development Board (NBDB), the event attracted over 40,000 visitors, highlighting the growing enthusiasm for local literary works.
Abiva Publishing House, Inc. actively participated in this year’s festival, proudly showcasing its latest MATATAG-compliant textbooks and the SRA Power Builders—the book version of the classic SRA Reading Laboratory kit which aims to strengthen students’ reading comprehension and critical thinking skills.
A steadfast supporter of the PBF since its debut in 2023, Abiva continues to champion the festival’s goal of providing a platform for Department of Education (DepEd) scopers, evaluators, and procurement officers to explore a diverse range of learning materials. Our participation underscores our commitment to supporting the public school system and aligns with DepEd’s direction toward the decentralized evaluation and procurement of educational resources.
The festival featured various zones—including Kid Lit, Komiks, Booktopia, and Aral Aklat—each offering unique experiences for attendees. Our presence in the Aral Aklat section emphasized our role in providing quality educational materials to the academic community.
Overall, the 2025 Philippine Book Festival served as a vibrant platform for celebrating and promoting Filipino authors, publishers, and educators—with Abiva playing a pivotal role in enriching the country’s educational landscape.
