On Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2026, the spirit of learning took center stage at The Tropics Hotel in Palo, Leyte. Educators from Tacloban, Leyte, and Samar came together not just to celebrate a day of hearts, but to celebrate their passion for teaching through Abiva’s Capacity Building Program for Educators.
The day was filled with energy and inspiration as participants engaged in breakout sessions led by experts in their fields: Dr. Ida Grace Baylon and Ms. Goldine Ramoso for Early Childhood Education, Eduardo Baylon for Araling Panlipunan, and Dr. Ryan Lansangan for Science. Each session offered practical strategies, interactive activities, and creative approaches designed to spark excitement in the classroom.
Teachers shared experiences, learned new methods, and collaborated on innovative ways to reach their students—turning Valentine’s Day into a celebration of dedication, growth, and community. The hands-on workshops and lively discussions gave every participant tools they can take back to their schools to make learning more engaging and meaningful.
Abiva Publishing House is proud to champion programs like this, honoring educators’ commitment and recognizing that teaching is more than a profession—it’s a labor of love. The Palo session reinforced the mission to empower educators and strengthen a vibrant, connected teaching community across the Philippines.
