Abiva Publishing House successfully held its Capacity Building Program at St. Mary’s Academy, gathering passionate educators from the Pasay area for a meaningful day of professional growth, learning, and collaboration.

The program began with inspiring opening remarks from Sister Ma. Rosalina Cristina Asuncion, RVM, Local Superior of St. Mary’s Academy. In her message, she emphasized the importance of continuous learning, collaboration among educators, and innovation in teaching to help nurture competent and confident learners.

Throughout the day, expert resource speakers shared practical and classroom-ready strategies designed to support teachers in strengthening their instructional practices.

The sessions were led by experienced educators in their respective fields. Ms. Daphne Aurora Guanlao facilitated the Preschool session in the morning, followed by Ms. Elsie Torreno, who continued the Preschool discussion in the afternoon. For subject-specific learning, Mr. Virzon Sarao conducted the session on Araling Panlipunan, Ms. Grace Talosig led the English session, and Ms. Marianne Bada guided teachers through strategies in Science.

Each session provided valuable insights and practical approaches that educators can immediately apply in their classrooms.

By the end of the program, participants left inspired and equipped with effective tools and strategies to enhance instruction, engage learners more meaningfully, and foster academic excellence in their schools. The event reinforced Abiva Publishing House’s commitment to supporting educators and strengthening the belief that empowered teachers build empowered students.
