For the 15 years that I was with Sales, each day was a new challenge:; meeting different people, servicing clients, making friends, and competing with other publishers’ sales representatives.
A leap in my career happened when I got promoted as Head of the Research and Business Development unit. Faced with bigger challenges, I had to learn and exhibit a different set of skills and wear different hats to improve my analytical skills and see beyond the obvious to find the right solution. What I like most about my current job is the opportunity to directly communicate with the management, allowing me to contribute ideas, especially in making crucial business decisions, providing analyses, and offering solutions to various business challenges.
And despite the leap in my career, I know I still have a lot to contribute and to learn.
