Educators Unite Nationwide: One-Day Simultaneous Capacity Building Program
On February 21, 2026, educators from Bacolod and Quezon City came together for a simultaneous, one-day Capacity Building Program held at Acacia Hotel Bacolod and St. Theresa’s College Quezon City, respectively.
This nationwide initiative provided teachers with the opportunity to enhance their skills, collaborate with fellow educators, and gain practical, classroom-ready strategies—all in one impactful day.
The program covered the same subject areas in both locations, with each venue led by distinguished resource speakers who brought their own expertise and dynamic, interactive approaches to the sessions.
Bacolod City Sessions
Preschool – Dr. Ida Grace Baylon and Ms. Goldine Ramoso led early childhood education sessions, equipping teachers with hands-on activities and innovative classroom strategies designed to support young learners.
Araling Panlipunan – Mr. Eduardo Baylon shared practical and engaging approaches to teaching social studies effectively.
Science – Ms. Marianne Bada provided strategies to make science lessons interactive, meaningful, and learner-centered.
English – Ms. Grace Talosig focused on strengthening language instruction through effective communication strategies, structured learning activities, and engaging classroom techniques. Teachers gained valuable insights on enhancing students’ reading, writing, and comprehension skills within a supportive learning environment.
St. Theresa’s College, Quezon City Sessions
Preschool – Ms. Daphne Aurora Guanlao and Ms. Elsie Torreno facilitated interactive and activity-based sessions tailored for early learners.
English – Dr. Milagros Dela Cruz guided teachers in enhancing language proficiency and delivering effective classroom instruction.
Araling Panlipunan – Mr. Virzon Sarao shared techniques to enrich and deepen social studies instruction.
Science – Mr. Rodolfo Amarillo presented strategies to make science lessons dynamic, engaging, and relevant to students’ everyday experiences.
Despite being conducted simultaneously in two different locations, the program fostered a strong sense of unity and shared purpose among educators. Participants connected, exchanged ideas, and left inspired to apply new strategies in their respective classrooms.
