Established in 1936, Abiva Publishing House, Inc. is the oldest and most enduring textbook publisher in the Philippines. It is known for its high-quality educational materials for all learning levels.
Abiva’s first office was located on Evangelista Street in Quiapo, Manila.
In 1939, the printing press transferred from a one-room office to a larger space on Misericordia Street (now T. Mapua).
In 1965, the company relocated its main office to Quezon City and later set up offices in Cebu and Davao to better serve schools in Visayas and Mindanao.
