Educators in Dumaguete came together for a meaningful day of learning, collaboration, and professional growth through the Abiva Capacity Building Program for Educators, focused on strengthening teaching practices aligned with the Revised K–10 Curriculum.
The seminar featured insightful sessions from our resource speakers: Dr. Ida Grace Baylon and Ms. Goldine Ramoso, who shared strategies in early childhood education to help teachers enhance their instructional approaches and better support young learners’ development; Mr. Eduardo Baylon, who presented practical and engaging methods in teaching Araling Panlipunan; Ms. Armia Pomoy, who discussed effective strategies in English instruction to strengthen learners’ communication skills; and Dr. Ryan Lansangan, who delivered a session on Transformative Science teaching, highlighting innovative and meaningful approaches to make Science more engaging and concept-driven for learners.
Through these sessions, teachers were equipped with practical tools and refreshed perspectives to enhance classroom instruction and better respond to learners’ needs. Through programs like these, Abiva Publishing House continues its commitment to empowering educators through meaningful professional development opportunities that strengthen teaching and learning in schools.
A big thank you to our Dumaguete educators for a truly impactful session!
