Reading and Writing in the Academe and Workplace

Senior High School

Provides reading materials and exercises that enable students to obtain and retain information, comprehend and analyze information, and practice reading and writing skills
Divided into two parts: Reading and Writing in the Academe and Reading and Writing in the Workplace—both of which provide a practical view of situations and experiences in school and work settings
Lessons in Reading are grouped into three major clusters: Industry, Reading for Science, and Reading for the Arts. Lessons in Writing are categorized into: Writing for Business, Reading and Writing for Healthcare, and Reading and Writing for Service-Oriented Occupations.
Each unit concludes with the Check component which provided summative test and reflections based on the students’ understanding of the lesson
